Outdoor Sports Facilities
Our extensive grounds feature high-quality outdoor pitches and specialist facilities, all maintained to top standards and available for short-term or residential hire:
- Rugby Pitches, including the renowned Dallaglio Match Ground, named after Old Amplefordian and former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio
- Cricket Pitches with a traditional Cricket Pavilion, ideal for matches and tournaments
- Outdoor Cricket Nets for practice sessions
- Hockey Astroturf
- Multiple Tennis Courts with panoramic valley views
- Equestrian Arena, professionally maintained for riding schools, training, and demonstrations

The St Alban’s Sports Centre at Ampleforth College provides a versatile, all-weather solution for sports and fitness:
